Prior to this, the Microsoft Office For Android was only available as a beta. However, according to a post on the Microsoft blog they officially announced the availability of the popular Microsoft Office for Android, “Today I’m pleased to announce the general availability of the new Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps for Android phone. These join our previously released Office apps for Android tablets to complete the Office experience for the millions of Android users around the world.”
Microsoft Office for Android would give you the right to review and edit documents, present from your android device and get quick access to your documents. Microsoft has also partnered with popular OEMs ike Samsung, Sony, LG and a lot more to pre-load these apps on Android devices later this year.
You can download Microsoft Office for Android for free, However, there is a bit of twist to what Microsoft is offering, in order to be able to edit or create documents, you would need to sign in with a free Microsoft account, what this means is that you might not be able to use it without the internet. (They had to spoil everything 
). Also, you would need to pay a subscription fee to unlock all the other features.
Despite these limitations, we all know that when it comes to editing documents Microsoft office suite is KING!
